Our Location:

Schewe Funeral and Cremation Services office location is in Channahon. We are associated with River's Edge Crematory located in Joliet. River's Edge Crematory is a local cremation center serving several area funeral homes. The crematory is within the Tezak Funeral Home facility. At the time of passing, your loved one is transferred from the place of death directly to the crematory care center. This offers families the peace of mind that their loved one is never transferred to another facility and there will never be a question of where your family member is located. We also lease space from Tezak Funeral Home when conducting funeral services for our families.  

Schewe Funeral & Cremation Services is proud to offer a new convenient online arrangement process and practical approach to arranging funeral & cremation services. You will never be asked to come into my office to “make arrangements,” instead, I will make arrangements in the comfort of your own home or any other location that is convenient for your family. However, if you desire to meet in a funeral home setting, we can meet at Tezak Funeral Home.
